APWA (At-Risk Pregnant Women Assistance)

APWA (At-Risk Pregnant Women Assistance) is a program to provide support and resources needed for moms undergoing a high-risk pregnancy.

Who can benefit from the program? 

Pregnant women:

• of Multiple babies (more than 1)

• of 1 baby but aged over 40 years old

• with serious pregnancy complications whether or not they had health conditions leading to these complications.

Pregnancy complications include but are not limited to:

• PPROM (Preterm premature rupture of the membranes)

• Hydrops Fetalis

• Placenta Abruption

• Hyperemesis Gravidarum

• Gestational Diabetes

• Placenta Previa

• Preeclampsia
